When it comes to World of Warcraft, gold is a crucial necessity. Why? Players will need gold to finance his character, whether it’s for their gears, equipment, quest items, transportation costs, and the list goes on. Either way, farming for gold takes a lot of hard work, time and effort. I’m going to list down the basic steps of how to make gold in WoW.

1.) Learning a GATHERING profession such as Herbalism and mining is crucial. It allows players access to tradable goods in practically no cost. This is one of the quickest ways to earn gold.

2.) INSTANCE FARMING. Instances and dungeons have improved loot and humanoids may occasionally drop cloth and a little gold. Not only will you find a lot of green items, but you can also find yourself looting blue items from time to time. When you cannot use the items, you can always sell them through auction house and make a ton of gold quickly.

3.) Mob grinding. Find the area where mobs respawn quickly, with or without ranged mobs. At this point, just kill them every time they respawn for a good two hours. Grinding is a whole lot easier when you have AOE spells and skills to take out lots of mobs at the same time. It also helps if they drop something useful from time to time, such as the ESSENCE OF AIR, which sells very well in the auction.

4.) Auction house. It requires a lot of patience to follow the depreciation of items, especially if you know how much the item is exactly worth. All you need to do is buy the item and resell it for the exact or slightly higher price. You can easily generate a decent income by doing this.

5.) Buy your gold online. This is a most frowned upon practice but unfortunately a lot of players are taking the easy way out by trading real life currency for virtual currency. If you have some cash to spare, buying gold online is probably your way out without having to work hard for it. Then again, you’ll always be at risk at getting scammed.

No matter the scenario and the need, gold will always be a factor in the success of the player in World of Warcraft. Getting by is simply not an option in World of Warcraft; when you know how to make gold in WoW, you’re already one step ahead of other players.
